A faint kiss in the mist
placed upon his forehead
barely discernible flutter
a windy whisper
arousing wonderment
the fantasm maiden
warming his body
with transmitted light
gone in the mist
from whence she came
exotic secrets await
my cherished one
a celestial promise
an ethereal departure

Afflicted is to feast on those who peddle flesh
Evil is to feast on the unsuspecting innocent

Afflicted is to cry out with a plea for help
Evil is to prey without mercy upon the helpless

Afflicted is to let what is truth be unveiled
Evil is to conceal one’s acts rather than reveal

There exists man afflicted with disease
There remains a beast who devours whom he pleases

Would one desire the beast to befriend
Demise to the heart the soul’s fateful end

Trophies of the fallen collection of hearts
Fatally wounded by the beast with poisoned darts

‘Yes’ she cried out bravely
to his lonely heartfelt plea
as she willingly extended
her heart to set him free
her embrace of tenderness
should have allayed his ache
loving blanket of safety
that his heart may never break

Love he begged~ she gave
a future filled with hope
‘you found me’ he shouted
in momentary joy
Stark was the moment
when vulnerability set in
enwrapping his heart
with the demon of misgiving
he spun his hideaway cocoon

Where the felicitous moments
feminine foretokens
that created her a woman
hidden in pain, walled up
mortar and brick enclosure
chip chip crumble the wall
crack the exterior
watch as it falls

Is there emptiness
can passion be revived
she touches herself
where men use to enter
tears, indicative of life
darkness in her mind
hiding terrors endured
unspoiled memories obscured

Door of apprehension
long locked with scars
lover’s touch, is it the key
who will search, set her free
will she awaken her icy sleep
butterfly in glorious flight
or remain a stifled caterpillar
crushed cocoon in dark of night 

She was pretty as a cactus flower
wild and free as a summer breeze
auburn tresses extending
far below delicate shoulders
tossed with the shake of her head
bursting with lusty laughter
coral lips and jade colored eyes
a peaches and Cream complexion

She was stranger to no one
warm with a heart of gold
smile that stole evey heart in the place
as she kicked up her leather etched cowgirl boots
twirling swirling layered petticoats
skipping through the do si do
of the Arizona square dance
all eyes upon the comely cactus flower
and she was the love of his life

Invisible fingers holding down
wet sensation losing ground
is this a dream is this real
tangible intangible ethereal
sucking out vacuum deep
bleeding passion body weeps
fills the chamber expanding wide
exciting flesh deep inside
explosive eruption heaven and earth
perfected pleasure a demon’s mirth

Night grips as the self-appointed victor
strikes with unwelcome masculine force

Wielding brawn ~ inflicting torture
to subjugated silken flesh

Dominating the woman’s body
to asphyxiate her feminine spirit

The voice of an angel
from the heavens above

a promise from the gods
sending someone to love

fear not time is nearby
the voice of an angel

carried on the wings
of a candescent butterfly
